How animal parents help their offspring survive
Students read short nonfiction texts and view brief descriptions of different animal parents, then match each parent behavior to how it helps the offspring survive.
Students will be able to
- Describe at least two ways an animal parent helps its offspring survive.
- Use evidence from a text to support the description.
